Do I need the app to open the UmaBox?
– Yes, you need to download the Uma app and register before you can unlock the door.
Does UmaBox place a pre-authorization hold?
– Yes, a temporary hold may be placed on your card to ensure payment can be processed. It’s released after your transaction is complete.
How does checkout work?
– Once the door is closed, the system automatically detects what you took and charges your saved payment method.
Can I pay without creating an account?
– No, you must create an account and add a payment method to use UmaBox.
What payment methods are accepted?
– We accept all major credit cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.
What if the door doesn’t unlock?
– Make sure you’re using the app to scan the QR code. If issues persist, contact support@uma.today.
Can I return an item after taking it?
– No returns, once the door is closed, the sale is finalized. If something’s wrong, email support@uma.today.
